This page is a plain-language summary of how MigrationSanity LLC handles personal information on this website and in its managed migration service.

What we collect

  • Contact requests. When you submit the Get started form, we receive your name, your work email, a headcount band, what needs to move, and any notes you choose to add. We send each request to two places: our customer records on Notion, and an email alert to our Microsoft 365 mailbox. If one of them is briefly unavailable, the other still receives it.
  • Your IP address. When you submit the form, we use your IP address to limit repeated submissions, and it is recorded in our server logs, which we keep for 30 days. If the site is ever behind a preview password, attempts to enter it are limited and logged the same way.
  • Agreements and invoices. When you sign an agreement with us, Adobe Acrobat records the signed documents and the details of each signature, such as each signer's name and email address. Invoices go to your billing contact through Stripe, and you pay on Stripe's own page. Full card and bank account numbers are entered there and never reach us.
  • No default trackers. The marketing site ships with no third-party analytics or advertising trackers. If we add analytics later, we'll update this page and add consent controls first.

How we use it

We use contact-request information to respond to you and to scope a potential engagement, signing and invoicing details to form the agreement and to invoice for it, and your IP address to protect the form from abuse and to keep the site running. We do not sell personal information.

Migration data

During an engagement, the email and files we migrate are handled by our service with least-privilege access and encrypted credentials. That processing is governed by the signed engagement agreement, not by this website policy.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@migrationsanity.com and we'll respond within the timeframe the applicable law requires.

Subprocessors

We publish the third parties that may process data on our behalf on our subprocessors page.
